About Express Reel Grinding

Express Reel Grinding, Inc was founded by Lee Heckman in 1985. He was the first one to create such a niche on-site business model to accommodate the needs of day-to-day operations on golf courses, athletic facilities, parks & recreations and many more. He was one of a kind, from his business relationships to his personal relationships he stood on core principles and became a man so many could rely and count on. His integrity, honesty, morality, sincerity, authenticity and so many more characteristics built the never-ending reputation of Lee that still lives on today. Sadly, he passed away on July 19th, 2023. His traits and values are carried on through his 4 children, 2 of whom still run and operate Express Reel Grinding, Lexx and Leevi Heckman who are accompanied by DJ Heckman and Adam Hansen. They both possess and spread the characteristics founded in Lee and honor his legacy by providing the same level of professionalism and supply everyone with the same level of respect, integrity and appreciation. He spent decades in this industry growing his reputation that led him to be the man so many loved and admired. That's why Express Reel Grinding still flourishes today because of one man who set out with a dream, ambition and willingness to sacrifice so much of his time to build something that would remain firm and stay true to the man Lee Heckman was.
